Southgate Pontiac Buick GMC HUMMER in Edmonton, Alberta. They've never steered me wrong and have gone above and beyond for me. Full transmission, transfer case, engine, and cooling system swap in four days, which impressed me. Good sales people, good technicians and mechanics, and good prices.

Yes, fortunately. A crack formed the transmission intercooler line where it meets the intercooler itself. All of this is inside of the main radiator. Fluid begin to circulate back and forth and we noticed the vehicle seeming a bit hesitant to shift. A week later, it seemed fine, and then the next day, it refused to shift into third. The fluid situation was so bad that they replaced everything. I forgot to mention that even the catalytic converter was replaced too. I do not know if it was due to temperatures (as the engine got really hot really fast when this happened) or if there was seepage into the engine to the extent that burning some of this gunk caused problems with the catalytic converter. As they replaced the engine as well, I am leaning towards the latter.
Thank goodness for the extended warranty. This happened after around three years and 90,000 km.
I've had a few people recommend to me an aftermarket intercooler to prevent the problem from occurring again. We're looking at switching into an H1 within the next few months though. Just working on selling the H2 and then see where it goes from there. I'm going to miss being without a Hummer for a couple months!

now that sounds great, I goto queensway because it is close to my office and roy foss is far from me but maybe I will check them out for my next service.... I heard they had a technical adviser who really knows about Hummers...
Queensway does not give out loaners and I have had a couple of issues with them but all in all my adviser, Hal, is a real nice guy.
