Hello all,
Turner Valley, Alberta here. Just bought a 2004 Hummer H2 SUV on the 5th of January. I wanted my first purchase to be a rear tire carrier, however it looks like it might have to be tires first. If anybody knows of great deals on the BF Goodrich 315 70R 17's please let me know.

Welcome Mike, how did you hear about us??
Do you have any photos of your truck? post them in the Gallery section if you do and in here..
Sorry, forgot to say that I heard about this site from Kijiji, one of the places that I check out for reasonably priced parts. (with a wife, reasonably priced is the most important words I have learned since getting my H2!) <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />
Glad to hear our Kijiji Ads are working....let me know if you would like some business cards to hand out to other Hummer drivers you see.. I will be happy to mail them to you.

I'm Bob, aka "The Goat", I received an e-mail for this new site from DWaxman today.
I have a H3, it's far from being in mint condition. I bought it new in 2006, and use it for what it was intended. It has a few character dings, I recently lifted the from a bit and put 35 inch Wangler MT/R on it for a bit more clearance.
I am about to replace the transfer case with a rebuilt one. Rather than being nickel/dimed to death by the stealership I had rebuilt shipped in from Florida. I didn't realize that a 4494 t-case was so hard to find. Generous Motors sure has the rights to this one sowed up.
Great off road sites North and South of Belleville. Lots of mud, rocks and tight trails.
Have a great day! and remember "stuck happens". If you not stuck, your not trying!
Welcome BOB...let us know when we can come for a trail ride down your way.. it would be a blast!! as for parts and work.. Master Mechanic, who is a sponsor of our site is a great place to go to, they are HUMMER specialist, GM certified and are by no means dealership crazy.. give Steve a call or PM him on here, his Username is olishooter.
glad you made it here, I am sure we can get some guys to come to Belleville, it is only a couple hours from TO, and 4 or so from Montreal..
let us know and we will come..plan a day and time, I will post it in the calendar.
I paid $1000.00 US for the t-case, and $70.00 to UPS it to Syracuse, and I get to keep the core. So I intent to rebuilt it for a spare. One huge question I have is about the oil for the t-case. My Owners manual states Dexron III approved for the "H" specification. What does that mean? What should I use, and what should I look for in the store? Or is this a stealer thing?

I'm in the process of moving from Nanaimo, BC to Gibsons, BC; two ferry rides! I've owned a 98 Wagon for almost 4 years and am active on other H forums. I have 96, 98 and 99 service manulas and the 98 parts manual. I'm fairly technical and will gladly help troubleshoot problems if I can.
