didn't have time yesterday, finished the rest of some MODS on my truck, exhaust and headers are in now, what a difference!!!



i will try today, pretty busy with my family coming hme, lots of last minute stuff to do and of course I have to go to work..DAMN!!

I'll add in a bit....mind you my CB days go back a ways.



When I was really into CB's and listening to "skip" coming from Texas and Kentucky.....all the way from BC....I had a Cobra with SSB....single sideband, which is nice between 2 units that have it for more private conversations......I ran an atenna on the back. Heavy shielded co-ax.....ball mount....to that a coil spring, and then to the spring I had a 6 foot Firestick. Solid and durable, except in extreme cold to where it could snap, then you may want to think about a metal whip.



It was sweet. Once used enough in a vehicle you could actually drive your truck in a slow circle, and directionalize to whom you were talking with, for a stronger signal. And at that point, you'll want to add in a match meter.
