Gary, What was wrong with your truck?



My guess is that a retaining bolt in the diff backed out or broke - that's my guess.



Tonka, did you get a new halfshaft in? What did it cost you?

Nope still havnt done the half shaft yet!! Trucks still getting repairs. Paint is done just working on interior. A total cost of 13500 in damage!!!! So angry

It does suck!!! But my insurance has been great to deal with which is really nice

Only problem is that with a nice new coat of paint... U won't wanna go offloading!

He'll still want to go. Even with a missing half shaft he still wanted to go to the falls!

well 2 weeks and Im still truckless ...ordered the new gears for the rear diff on the monday following our trial run , from a 4x4 shop in Edmonton called Tonka ...told us 2-4 days ...then the send 4.56 instead of 4.88....then after another week and me about to snap , they say the gears are on a truck in Edmonton this past thursday ...find out friday afternoon they cant seem to find my gears ....cancelled the order and took my buisness elsewhere . New place is gonna overnight them on monday . My H2 is my daily driver and its winter so cant ride my motorbike so this has been a huge pain in the ass for me lol ......But I should have known better then to buy 4x4 stuff from a place that sells chrome jerry cans ...lol

What happened inside the diff? I didn't see anything that would've been trail related, there might have been, but I didn't see it.



Do you know what failed?
