Now that's drastic...if I blew up my Hummer with C4, would you finance an H1 for me? <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />

Sounds like you have a squirrel problem!!

No Seriously, on your 05 you should have filters for your hvac ducts. Locate the cover remove the one bolt and pull out the filter and change them, DO NOT CLEAN THEM!! If you don't have a filter, remove the blower motor and vaccum it and the housing it sits in! Both of these should fix the problem! Unless you really do have a squirrel in there!! Or better yet since you are in florida...it could be a tiny lizard!!!

Okay...at home with some time now. You told me to "locate the cover and remove the one bolt"...where the heck is that located...man I need a service manual!!! Seriously, I am not kidding when I ask where the heck this cover is located...I am a visual person so if you can take a picture to show me...all the better! Where do I find a new filter?? Never mind where the blower is and how to remove it!!! Looked for the squirrel....didn't find it. Oh, by the way, some idiot DID remove the foam from the plastic mould on either side of the windshield. I'll have to go to get some self adhesive foam tape from the automotive shop on Monday.

Okay, finally remembered to update. Took Polar Bears advice and put the self adhesive tape on the plastic windshield mouldings and PRESTO no more noise. Took the baby on a trip to TO to take in a Raptors game and drove any speed I wanted with no rattle and hum!!! Also cleaned out the HVAC to get rid of the noise from the pine needles and that worked as well. Unfortunately, there were NO filters so I will need to know where I can buy some and a part number in case I have to order them...GM dealer in town says they still may be able to order them with the part number. Thanks Kevin....hopefully that pony express guy will get a new horse soon to be able to deliver the cheque I wrote. Hey, it was written on an American napkin so it might even be in US funds...right when Can and US are at par.
