Plus wheeling in the snow could be pretty stressful for a first timer... But I agree we gotta start getting the notifications going out! I'd just hate to bring someone out and subject them to winter trails without knowing what they were getting into... It can be stressful to say the least!

LOL - too bad it's cost me $3,623.12 over the last several months to win that!!!

So dropped into the road king today to have a look in the CB shop - nice variety but man the mark-up in there is pretty high! I think I'll try and finish my research and buy online as almost half the price for the same thing. Turns out the reason the radio I was looking at was so powerful - I guess it's a HAM radio with the ability to be adapted to the CB channels. Getting too technical for me so I will continue my search...

I got recommended to buy from this site by a few Jeepers, I have heard they are very knowledgeable if you want to talk with them and they have no problem to ship to Canada.

Found a truck site that has a deal for shipping into Canada so I'll order it this weekend and pick up an antenna locally. If you can get your hands on a tuner - that would be awesome - I won;t be installing it for another month and a bit as I hate working outside in the bitter cold and I don;t really want to pay someone to install it for me..

I think the cobra unit will be awesome especially having bluetooth as I wont talk on the phone while driving..

Sure, am starting to look around for an antenna right now as it is; so I will need to borrow the tuner whenever I get it anyway.

I might run out to Flying J today and see what they have for magnetic mount antenna's
