This IS why Hummer people are awesome!
...and this is just our initial donation, I know some of you are waiting to donate at the next event in December. Thanks again everyone!

What a great turnout yesterday. The weather was fantastic, The Salvation Army Brass Band and Carolers were just wonderful. They included, 35 musicians with 35 singers, a truly festive performance!
The Christmas Spirit was alive in the Square, with the Salvation Army giving free hot chocolate and their new 2011 Christmas Bells, Mcdonalds giving free coffee, Longo's giving free cupcakes, Allens Candy giving candy canes, Public Mobile giving free long distance calls, and Canadian Hummer Club giving free chocolates and Matchbox Hummer toys to the Kids.
This years Toy Collection Goal is 150000 Toys. The current number of Toys Collected, is just over 8000, and CHC was able to donate a good part of that, over 300 toys! Impressive! THANK YOU to our Partners, Members and Friends!!!
Of course, we are still collecting toys through the month of December to help meet the goal.
Pictures to follow.

I feel better everyday being part of this club. As I mentioned in my introduction in the New Members section, I have not participated in a forum community in years, because they are always full of dicks! CHC seemed different, so I jumped in. I can not believe the quality of people here, the social events are great, everyone treats everyone as equal and friends no matter what Hummer they drive. And then to see everyone step up like this to help the less fortunate is just incredible!
To all those Hummer haters, and the ones that hate the drivers too...
you can all kiss my ass! <img src='

Rhino has given some and now has some more may I suggest we contact the Toy Mountain people about the 22 and have the trucks drive in and unload.
Also I gave a hand to the Longo's people in taking apart their giant cup cake Xmas tree their head person took a Club contact card. Maybe another sponcer??? It always looks good to give a hand even when it comes back mint green for two days.

We now have ONLY 5 collection days to go, to still get toys to kids in need this Christmas. Please contact us if you have any questions, or feel you still want to help.
If you are in the Greater Toronto Area December 21, we invite you to join CHC along with the Salvation Army, where we will make our second donation live on air with CTV's Tom Brown at the Natrel Rink at Harbourfront Centre.
If you'd like to donate a toy please bring one, or just bring the family and show your support, we'd love to see you there. If you have skates bring those too and enjoy our lovely Harbourfront!
