Glad to see you'll be joining us TC, it'll sure be nice to have an H1 on the trails!!! Hopefully I'll be showing you some trails that you haven't tried before! I can guarantee that I will put both your H1 and your skill to the test!!! BTW, you both should REMOVE YOUR STEPS!!! Unless of course you love Pretzels!!! TC, have you ever done the trail with the section I call the Squeeze(4 honda sized boudlers) or the one with the Switchback(180 degree turn while climbing 100vertical feet in approximately 500ft)<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' /> If no, you'll love them....once you get past the pucker factor!!!

Also, what would you both say is your off-road skill level, novice, intermediate, advanced, extreme, or NUTS???

Just curious, it helps me to better plan the trail, to take into account bypasses if you guys need them and to make sure that I am not exceeding your skill set during the day.

I plan on stopping by a secluded lake for lunch, it is a nice place to relax before the afternoon trail!

One thing you should consider for trails in Quebec...body clading! You know those oversize fridge magnets to protect your paint. While most of the trails are wide and spacious we have some forest sections that get quite close and may induce some Deep Woods pinstriping, so to protect your paint either apply a healthy coat of mud(my personal choice) or consider some magnets. Also since I lead and I don't like the pinstriping either I normally get out the Axe/Saw and cut what needs to be cut to allow safe passage. But then again my H2 is White so scratches really don't show!!!

Hello All, Just a quick reminder to anyone considering coming on July 5th. We already have a nice crew coming together for our first trail ride of the year. The morning will be spent on refreshing or developing our off-road skills and getting accustomed to both the terrain and our Hummers after a long winter! There is ALOT of rain in the forecast leading up to the trail ride, but Saturday is going to be Sunny, so please make sure you have a change of clothes and some boots...you will need them! And hopefully you guys like mud, from what I have already seen it is going to be DEEP!!! Looks like we are going to have a very memorable and exciting day!! Hope to see you there!

If you are planning on coming don't forget to email me at kgundrywhite@canadianhummerclub.com so that I know to wait for you, before heading out to the trail.

Remember we are meeting at the Tim Horton's in Saint Sauveur for 8:30 AM, Saturday July 5th and will then be heading to the trail from there!

Don't forget a lunch and your GMRS/FRS radio.

See you on the Trail!!!
