Booyah!!!! I went with the MotoMetal 951's which are the ones I originally wanted as the chrome just ties teh whole truck together! I'll take a pictrure once I have the lift an for the full affect!
I love those KM2's though - can wait to try them in the bush!

Wow, I've been out of pocket for a bit now and sounds like you guys are ready to roll for this gig!
I was one step removed from having to pull out of this, my job in the AF really blows and I've been holding the trigger on retirement. I was going to end up using my vacation time looking for a home and job out in Prescott, Az---then Harold chimed in and got on board. Sooooo, retirement can wait--it's too much fun wheeling with the 1; as in I'm pretty confident he can pull any of us out of a good stuck!
I'm really looking forward to meeting up with you guys again and hanging out and doing some wheeling.
My plans are still for retiring in Az, it got me to thinking if I'd be making any road trips to Canada from Az-that's a long damn drive! I figured I better get one good one in this year, it may be awhile before I get up there in the 2 again.
We're still bringing the trailer, so a good parking spot would be awesome; is the area you guys have scouted out anywhere close to the water this time? That last site was awesome.
See ya in a couple weeks!

Re: Wanna Do A Waiporous Run In July?
Hot dog! We made it into Calgary last night--the 2 towed the trailer like a champ and it was a great drive, damn near 900 miles. Pulled off the interstate in Montana somewhere in the middle of a mountain outside of Cascade and had full hook-ups in a really nice setting--for twenty bucks, self-pay.
Took the 2 and trailer into an awesome car wash this morning and hosed the bugs off, then finally got the trailer off the back of the 2 after it's been on for four days now. The 2 drives like a hot rod with out 6K pounds on it's back!
Really looking forward to the camping, we're hoping to get a couple of days camping in the Kananaskis early next week out at Beaver and then we'll turn it around for Waiporous; I've been planning to make it out on Friday, and with the amount of effort it takes to move a wife and three daughters, it'll be Friday afternoon.
Hey Brian, are there any sewer dumps or water fill stations for the trailers out that way? It'll make life alot more tolerable for the wife, Lord help her if she has to use a public facility, or God forbid, the woods--and we seem to drain out the water tank on the trailer quickly.

Re: Wanna Do A Waiporous Run In July?
I'm not sure if there is or not..... there's no hook-ups in the area that I know of so I doubt it. I'll be using my trailer for the first time so I wish there was to make life easier - There is one at the Petro Canada Station ont he transcanada highway as you come in the city from the west.
My wife thought she saw something around the Hamlet of Waiprous so we were going to see as we drive in on Thursday or wednesday depending on when we leave.
B-Man - stop by North Ghost Lake and we're in Site 45 (I hope) and I'll give you a hand with the signs etc if you need it...

this sounds awsome! if i can make this work i will! will be the first real off road trip for me!this camping site you are talking about is it full service like water, power and sewer? should be out of fort mac in the next day or so! should be able to make this work!
[/quote]
hey hope you can make it.
and sorry to say but it is most defiantly not a full service camp ground.
i think the nearest services are in Cochrane witch is about an hour away.
it is how ever a nice meadow with water near by.
