Here's Karl's video: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=NBW0xnZKnls
If you are wondering why the pause in the pull... I thought he was out so I stopped and then realized nose was still in so I gunned it.... yanked him out pretty good eh??
Jared's to come!

Quick one of JL... keep your eyes on his license plate... There is a nice one of him coming down and you get a better picture but i don't want to post a close up of his plate...

Oh geez... CRUNCH CRUNCH!! HAHA!
But it's still hanging on... crooked and by one loose screw!
If you got another one might as well put it up, what's the real harm, eh?

Re: Alberta November Trail Ride
Home sweet home by 5PM Sunday. Took my time on the way too.. Was a nice drive! Probably feeling so good about everything because there was no real damage this time!!
Just bloody dirty and wet inside and out! Thanks again to Dave for all your help and kindness. Your wife and kids were once again super nice to me and my son. I'm glad you forgot your wallet on Sunday..that bit of gas I paid for was just a token of my gratitude.
Will upload pics and vids later... Gotta get some work done <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Mountains in Florida.....LOL You crack me up.....I said on the way to Florida...we drive through the Smoky Mountains in Kentucky and Tennessee.
I would love to come out West and go off-roading with your group...only thing is that I wouldn't want to break anything...would have to have my mechanic go over the Hummer with a fine tooth comb to check for possible faults as it seems someone, usually Karl, breaks something on your trail rides.....would have to factor that into the "trip money" a cool grand just in case.....lol
[/quote]
A grand might cover it. LOL. Would be AWESOME to have you along. We can break stuff together!!
This 'break' was pretty minor - and if i'd had at least ONE larger sized washer, I'm pretty sure we could have got her out the night before. But the diff bouncing around was EXACTLY what screwed me last time, when it bounced so high it sheared off the oil cooling lines housing. So we didna wanna chance THAT again. Leaving it over night was best, and a quick fix in the AM in the light of day was easy (and yes, a new adventure ) .
By the way, my Jeep friend had a MAJOR blast out there! He also broke something (besides one of his front shock mounts which he just ripped the shock out on the trail). Looks like his tranny is giving him grief. He's thinking cleaning, new filters and new bands at least. Hopefully that will fix him up.
Now I am going out side to rip out my carpets and then take the truck and all the carpets and mats down to the carwash.. I am thinking of leaving the rugs out and spraying the floor with some kind of rubber coating... Any ideas out there on this application?
