Making it out to MOAB would be a dream come true, but September is probably the worst time of year for me to go anywhere with my job.Image

Oh yeah..... The desire to do Moab is definitely there.... Funds simply prevents...

We're heading to Montana for a shopping trip in July and then Florida next April which is going to be a whopping bill as Disneyworld....

I wish I could.... Day trips are all I can do right now..... But I will get to Utah one day. The movie Broken Arrow was on a while back and I fell in love with the scenery all over again...

OK, I'll stop ragg'n on y'all

I think I'll still do a get together at my garage. Vids, pics, stories, pizza, diet coke - all the fix'ns!

Moab is as awesome as you think it is - and I hope everyone can get down there at least once in their life.

I would really like to do that MOAB trip.

I was down in Colorado Springs a month or so ago and I went 4 wheeling with a buddy down there. It was fantastic. I didn't have the H1 down there I was playing spotter but it was great. At this point I just don't know enough about the truck or have enough confidence in it to make that big of a trek. I would definitely be interested in hearing your experience in going down there Greg. I got a small taste of what they have down that way in terms of trails. It was crazy. Although one of the guys we went with was packing heat (44 magnum) because it was his right to carry 'protection' that was a little odd and took a little getting use to. Still not sure what he was protecting himself against.

I'll have my new compressor so no prob as long as it holds out...

Double the size of my previous one and has the pressure and heat protection breakers so I hope this one holds out! May have been a fluke with the first one but makes you wonder when it conks out on the second run with it... So I went with the model up... Didn't see tHis one otherwise I would have gotten it originally...

I dunno if I would say I was running it.... Initiator perhaps Image

It would probably be best if we brought premade lunches as usual and definitely bring extra on this one just in case... As never been on these tails - unsure of timing and what we may run into...

When we did Racehorse creek which is north of there on the 40... We ran into a lot of bogs which really slowed us down so really don't know what to expect..... Those smokies were definitely good though.....

kool kool.

well id like to suggest we meet down there around 9 or so cause we all need to fill up and i know i could use another coffee by then.

that way we can hopefully be hitting trails by 10. id love to see if we can do the full loop.?

i no it means a supper early morning but its going to be so worth it. we should convoy down with the edmonton boyz.

we could meet up in okotoks? or even the exit to 22south on hwy 22x?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />

how long would i take to get there from that area? 3hrs?
