Any idea if the trail directly across from the gravel pit is open yet? That is always fun to do in the snow <img src='

It's my understanding that those trails have been closed for years. Stelmach and Morton closed them when they closed the whole area. The only open trails are the ones outlined on the SRD map and those trails are not identified as open. At least that's how I understand it.
That's why we do the same Lost Knife Trail over and over and over. After a life of voting Conservative, at the moment Morton closed the area I decided that I'd never vote for the provincial Conservative Party again - and I haven't.
I'm going wheeling into Waiparious on Sunday too - same damn trail. There's only a couple of trails out there that are open anymore.
BTW, Morton likes quadding. You'll notice how many more quadding trails there are than truck trails. It just stinks of self serving, corrupt political machinations. That's why I've been wheeling in Moab and New Mexico and that's why I buy as many of my parts as possible out of the US - they support me so I support them.
Rant over.

Dang it...
I can't find my roof rack keys. E003 and E005.
Anyone in Calgary got at least the E003 available for me to borrow quickly tonight?

I was talking about the trail between points 95-93-89, they are identified on the map as year-round truck trails. Problem was the bridge was washed out so it was temporarily closed, not sure if that has been resolved yet.
Sure would be nice if we had more truck trails to do in that area <img src='
