Wicked!  Nice climb on the Gates of Hell!

I want everyone to know that we bring H2's, H3's and H1's up the Gates too.

If your truck is 100% stock, right from the factory - GREAT!!!  Remember, Moab is where AM General (and GM) developed these trucks.  The Gates of Hell can be climbed by all stock Hummer vehicles.  You do not need to modify anything on your truck to go to the event, it just needs to be in good repair.  Winches are almost never used in Moab.

The only H2 damage that I can recall from the event was a tie-rod on Flat Iron Mesa - and it was after market.  Actually, only the bolt fell out, it wasn't broken.

We did have some H3 issues.  I think we had a half shaft fail in new Mexico on Grim Reaper.

The H1 issues seemed to be centered around just a couple of trucks.

Yup, the most "upgraded" trucks had the most trouble...... makes you wonder if the upgrades were just modifications.

Was an awesome event! Thanks again Greg.

The Hummer Club event is in September.  This year we had more than 30 trucks.  It's pretty cool.  Hummer after Hummer after Hummer.  Just wicked cool.

You can go to Moab anytime but there are some benefits to going with the club.  Also, for some folks there are some drawbacks - but I think it's easily the single best event of the year.  I wouldn't miss it for anything.

Having said all that - you'll be there with a lot of Hummer and Moab experience.  Some of the experience is when to go.  The spring is good and September is good.  The summer is WAY TOO HOT, the spring can be rainy and the winter gets snow.  If you go in the spring you'll need to work around the Easter Jeep Safari - and a multitude of other events from bike races to Mozart on the Rocks.  It's busy.  Sept, in my book - is perfect.

I'm the organizer of the event so I choose the dates,  I'll be doing that in the next few weeks then I'll immediately block out hundreds of hotel room nights.

Greg - or as everyone in Moab knows me, Hollywood.
