The Falls? Again!
SRD has closed so much of the widerness that it's become almost pointless. It's sad actually. Ted Morton and the Conservatives closed it all up - and I'll never votre for them again. They forgot who the country belongs to in the first place.
Anyway, I'll be in Moab.
Plus I'm doing a trail before the Moab event called The Hole in the Rock. It was a trail pioneered by the Mormons in the mid 1800's. It's cool. You can still see where they carved out the rock for their wagon wheels and the hoofs on their oxen. Very interesting - and it includes 2 nights camping in the desert. Should be fun!

Dude... Have a lot of fun and take lots of video!
I will get down there one day when the finances are in order..
Also the trails in waiparous are almost new again! We went in via lost knife last run and it was definitely a one way trip... Bridges washed out or damaged... What used to be little trickles were streams during the flood and cut deeper channels so it was a new experience going... I heard the falls trail is extremely difficult now so should be another new experience....

Take lots of pictures! I've fantasized about going to Moab since I was in Vegas 3 years ago. Moab and Glamis are two places I'd love to wheel at!
Does anybody know of a Method wheels in Canada? I went direct to Method to price out a set of 16x8 beadlocks, $2,700 U.S for a set of 5, powdercoated and custom drilled to fit the Damn 100.6mm center hub bore as they didn't have any oversized center hub wheels available at the time.

I'm sure I'll have a great time! There are 4 trucks going from Alberta - and a few others from other parts of Canada.
I'm fairly stressed about it since I'm the organizer of the event - which I believe will be the largest Hummer event in the world this year. About 100 people, 35 trucks - all Hummers. We even have 5 folks coming from Holland! I've put together 2 Dinners, awards ceremony, event shirts.... lot's on the go. It was weird booking over 400 hotel room nights.
Anyway, I wish you guys could've made it......... first time a non American has organized the Hummer Club's keystone event.

A very ANGRY update today on the progress of the randomly exploded airbags in my truck.
Day#39 I have officially lost $7,000 +/- as of today due to me not having a vehicle and not being able to work on the road.
I received a call at 4:30 this afternoon saying the headliner ordered for my truck is wrong. It sat the last 3 days waiting to get into the bodyshop to get the back window cut out to put this headliner in without damaging it.
This part was a 10 day wait, special order and I know first hand it arrived last Thursday morning......IT TOOK SEVEN DAYS to open it up and look at it to see if it was right?!?!?! I am so beyond livid I can't explain. I'm here being told "It will be ready Friday" for three weeks. I've had calm yet stern words with both the service manager and parts manager I will be contacting GM again tomorrow about this and sending them a bill for my lost income for the last 6 weeks.
I'm at a complete loss I was patient when it took GM a week to approve the removal and shipping of the airbag modules, I remained calm when it took the engineers 3 weeks to diagnose the issue and approve them paying the repair bill to only find out it only took 8 working days and my contact at GM "just forgot about it" I started to get frustrated when it took my dealer an extra 3 days order my headliner because "he wrote it down but forgot about it" I was severely annoyed when every single part was there for 5 days and they JUST removed the back window to install the headliner, I'm now livid to the point of heart palpitations at only 24yrs old.
No advice needed, no recommends desired just my .02, never buy a GM again!
