Jeez Harold!  That's a lot of nice stuff.

I'm switching to the Alpha set-up over Christmas.  At least that's the plan.  I have all my parts on the bench ready to go.

Have somebody interested in buying my truck, it is a good offer... just not sure what I could replace it with. Hummer doesn't have a lot of standard transmission trucks out there.

Weren't you saying how you wanted an auto for 4 wheeling so it would be easier on components?

Now's your chance to get an H1. Do it Do it!

I did see this on AutoTrader the other day....

<a href="http://www.autotrader.ca/a/AM+General/H ... ShowCPO</a>

Something kind of weird... there is a picture where it appears to be driving on the road at 60mph, but the door is open, and the person taking the picture doesn't have their feet on the gas!

Ya in that picture the hood release is also pulled and there is very low oil pressure. I'm thinking there is definitely something going on there. Also shouldn't be idling at 1000 rpm and 60 mph is way more than 1000rpm anyways.

So sell the H3 since you got a good offer on it, and get an H1. I think that decision makes itself.

Maybe not this one as it looks a little too much like a scam.

The ad says it has stability control. It doesn't have it. It has TT4, traction control but not stability control.

No winch and the wheels don't have provisions for CTIS although it seems to have the interior switch gear.

Those wheels are garbage (my opinion), and the Rhino stuff on the bumper will be an issue if you off road it. It just tears off when you rub a rock.

FWIW, I'd love a 2 door. And that one looks pretty good. It has some needs, but not too bad.

BTW. 2003 may be the best year for H1's.

They all have pro's and con's but I'd look for '97 1/2 or newer.

So why 1997.5 or higher? I have heard that before but can't remember why....

I was going to look at a 1996 with a rebuilt Detroit engine.....
