I wanted to get a formal thread rolling on this run; I will update this post as we get details worked out.

Route:

What route in McLean do we want to take? I have been out there a lot, but because I usually just follow other people I am not that familiar with the trails myself. Two of the people coming out will be new, so I was hoping we can do an easy "adventure" style run somewhere senic to make it a positive experience for them.

Time:

Should we say meet at the store around 9:00am?

People Coming:

-Nick: Black H3T

-Ferdinand: FJ Cruiser

-Ferdinand's Neighbour: H2

-Joe (Nicks Boss): H3T

unconfirmed: (just post to confirm)

-Dave: H2

-Steve: H2

-Brian: H2

-Jarett: H3

-Gary: H2

-Jarett's friend: Rubicon

People We wish would come:

-Karl: H3

-Harold: H1
Who's Karl: H3 ?? <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ey-013.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wtf:' />

Kidding of course... It's me!! But i'm in a H2SUT now, and Yes!! Count me in for the 5th!

Sweeeeet!!!!!!

Should be a good run!!!!

Well.... I just found out my %^#$^!%#&!$#$&!&#$&!% tires will be a no go anytime soon!!!! I guess I had too much fun last time out and I got water in the fuel pump control module. Like I even knew I had one of those $^#!^#!@$# things!!!! So the part is on order from the States, aint gut my Humma for a week plus and probably $1500.00 bucks later!!!

I would say that is a weakness those on the H2's so I'm going to have the tech dude show me where this thing is as I'm obviously going to have to design a cover for it so this does not happen again!!!! I come across 3 foot puddles everyday so I need to be prepared!!!!!

CRAP!!!

you guys need to stop going to shaw.

warranty or not you guys spend a hole hell of a lot of money there.

i would recommend to bring it somewhere else to get looked at and if needed bring it to shaw.

i found shaw only ripped me off BIG time

i said screw the warranty and went to my mechanic and i saved a ton of cash.

Welcome back man! Congrats on the new H2 SUT.... kind of cool it is yellow too!

Sorry, I can't edit the first page anymore... I think after a moderator edits it I can't tweak it so none of the updates get included.

haha, an excellent suggestion Brian!

I am sure anything I take my truck there for from now on is going to be a rip-off fest because I have tied into the electrical system now.

For the most part I can do my own work, sadly the only mechanic who I trust 100% is leaving for Quebec in a few months <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

And I probably would have..... The only reason I was going there is that I "Thought" it was a warranty issue..... then turns out to be something totally different... Couldn't friggin believe it... Then there is a bill for diagnosing anyways so at which point you are pretty much stuck with getting them to finish the job...

Another reason why i would like that trinity as I would really like to diagnose problems ahead of time and know what they are so I know where to take it - or even start getting off my lazy ass and start doing the work myself. Frig in highschool I used to rebuild transmissions and all I do now is clean my airfilter.... Granted in my days though I could identify each and every engine component and part and know exactly what they do.... Now-a-days... it all comes down to the CPU...

I think we need to track down a master mechanic for the Calgary area as although my guy is great - he admitted he doesn;t like working on the Hummers due to the "complexity" of them...
