The B-Man is out for tomorrow as well... Sounds like he's got a big job he needs to get done by Monday so he can't make it <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

I must admit I feel for Gary.... We I did that Lethbridge run - that's when I left to!

Made for a long day, especially when you don;t get home until 4 in the morning!

We need to find something near Red Deer!

So how did it go?

I pretty much spent my day sitting on my ass brooding over my stupid truck <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... adbang.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':headbang:' />

However I think I found a replacement... Brabus Black Edition Unimog FTW!

anybody have $300,000 I can borrow?

Well, got home about an hours ago..... was a great day! Bit of course we had a few mishaps as always...

One wrong turn in going to the lake and came to a dead end - a bit tight in turning around be we eventually got back on track. Going through the mud though fried Scott's alternator so he died completely, he's just getting towed as we speak to Cochrane Toyota for repairs during the week.

After we came out of 4 corners heading back to the pitt - Dan's diff blew?? not sure why on a gravel road, but putting it in 4high got him going like it did me so he should have made it home. He had my number just in case so I trust all is good.

Now - I just got a call from Scott as I gave him my number to just in case, and I guess Gary's belt blew after we left them as the tow truck guy was on his way. So I guess he's taking the FJ to toyota and then going back to pick up Gary, I'll see if I can get a belt tomorrow and run it out...

So once again we had out mishaps.... but at least we made it out!

Update.

Made it home in 4h with my white H2 (was driving max 80 all the way so hopefully that would not have done further damage). When I got it home I again tried awd and again did not engage - all I hear is grinding bothg in drive and reverse. Put it back to 4H and that again engaged.

I think the problem is my t-case and not front diff? If front diff, would I not get the grinding even in 4H and 4L?

Anyone know where I should start to diagnose? In the meantime, will I do more damage if I drive the rig for about the next week in 4H? I would keep it to a 80kph max speed?

BTW - had a blast. The trails were more dry than last month, making for less and shallower mud bogs, but still trails had its challenges.

Thanks

Call will at E-Mortal customs at 403-369-3878 and tell him Dave and Brian refered you.... they've done work on mine and Brian's Hummers and they do good work!
