Re: QUEBEC Chapter Saturday May 9th, 2009 First Trail Ride of the Season!!!
We had a blast yesterday at the trails <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />. Kev, Tony, Roy, Stef, Alain and all the guys and gals on that trails, thank you so much <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />. We have so much fun and i learned a lot of stuff for this amazing truck and how to handle it to the extreme <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />. Looking forward to the next trail.

Re: QUEBEC Chapter Saturday May 9th, 2009 First Trail Ride of the Season!!!
Well yesterday was sure interesting! Roy got High centered and had to use his winch for the very first time, Tony actually had to take a bypass in order to help with winching from the front of the pack at the head of a really large mudhole. Alain scraped the belly of his Hum-Ota/Toy-Mer due to being high centered on several rocks. Stef wished he had his winch!! Jim got to use his winch for the first time and I sheared 4 of my UCP attachment bolt by grinding the belly of my H2 over the rocks...you'd swear the rocks grew over the winter, the ruts where huge and the holes very deep! The trail changed dramatically from last year. In the afternoon, I earned the new nick name Bulldozer as I attempted to cross a 4ft deep 300ft long mudhole in the worst spot which used to be the only passable spot. The mud flexed my plate so much that it sheared off all my remaining front skidplate bolts and turned it into a huge plow under my Hummer that beached my H2 deep in the sticky stuff so bad that if I opened a door I would've had a Hummer full of nasty smelly mud! Tony and Roy wanted me to get out to hook up the strap but instead they provided the amazing towing service and comedy act of Tony riding on Roys roof rack holding the strap and then climbing down trying not to get wet, afterall I was in 4ft deep!!! It was the funniest thing to watch Tony holding onto the rack like a hood ornament as Roy and His Mighty H1 struggled to pull me out...then we had to fix my skidplate so that we could get home...wait till you see my Series II UCP!!! This will never happen again!!! Needless to saw most of our trails are now impassable due to people not treading lightly so we are going to start scouting out some new sections of trail and hopefully we will find some even more amazing trails...in a not as frequented area!
