Any interest in a run any time soon??? Any Albertan's left???

Ross and I just had an AWESOME run down south by Coleman, wouldn't;t mind getting to the lake end of this month or early October....

Saw the 1946 Airplane crash which was incredible to see.... and went to saw the historic Coal mining town of Lillie.... had a blast!!!

lol... I don.t want to ruin Ross's thunder so lets just say I got stuck and a Hummer had to pull me out!!!!

God we had fun!!

I'm a history buff so seeing all that kinda made my day! Life's short so you have to experience everything possible!!

I'm in a big restoration phase with my truck right now doing body work.

Cut off the lower section off the hard top where it meets the aluminum tub and am welding in new steel with all new seals etc. and doing a full repaint. One side is complete and I'll start the other side this weekend.

Apparently this takes a lot of time, and the 3 weeks originally planned for this job it going to be more like 3 months I bet.

Also have a new M12000 warn to go on the back and fabricated a new rear bumper from scratch that not only allows me to mount the rear winch but also increase my departure angle drastically.

And finished up some rear storage bins, so those are completed and painted and ready to be installed. But currently the truck sits with no interior other than drivers and front passengers seats in it...

So in all reality I'm out till next spring for wheeling I think. Maybe October, but that's a little optimistic with what I have going on at work.

I rode my mountain bike up to that crash site last year.  6 hours up, 2 hours down.
It's an amazing place to go and see.  Way cool.

This weekend I'm replacing a CTIS spindle seal, doing a full 'C' service and loading up the Hummer for the Moab Zombie Hunt next weekend.  I can't tell you how excited I am about this!  I hope it's THE event that's talked about for years.....

I won't be wheeling locally until at least December.

I think some snow is starting to fall in the mountains, I wouldn't mind to get out and play in it at some point. I do prefer the white fluff to the brown kind just because it is easier on the components! Plus that time Dave fell on his ass was pretty funny, it would have been less funny without the butt-hole he made in the ice.

Should be unloading my Isuzu as of next weekend, so finally I can focus on some off-roading stuff!

We are always up for some off roading, but I have an H2 that I think needs a new front diff and an H1 that needs a couple small jobs done next week, then its all good to go!

H2 will have a proper diagnosis next week.

We should be good for anything in a couple weeks time!

I'd gladly make time for a run in the snow but the fan on my T just spun loose and cratered my rad for the second time in four years, since I've owned it. Hoping I can get a flexalite fan and temperature/fan speed controller in A.S.A.P to keep it on the road.

After all I only waited 8 weeks to get a GM power steering pump.
