Sounds like you are having a lot of issues with the truck, lol
If it makes you feel better, my truck was in and out of the shop for the first two years a ridiculous number of times. I think I averaged a problem every 2 weeks for the entire second year I owned it. Then... one day it stopped. That was 3 years ago and I haven't had a major issue since. My theory is that I finally replaced all of the stuff that was prone to fail, lol.
I think a big part of it was I started changing all my fluids annually with premium synthetics, and no more dropping it off at GM. Once their techs stopped touching it, the problems also started going away.
My only pending issue is my t-case, it is still clicking away... but I've found that I can order an entire new one for like 1150$ USD pre-filled with fluid. So much cheaper and quicker to do if it fails. I will probably order one pretty quick, I think GM botched mine from the factory and even with the rebuild that the dealer did up here it has never stopped slipping the chain.

You know as well as I do that alot of the left over parts on the shelf they started to slam into these trucks on the assembly line. I ran into a local guy with a 2010,3.7,auto, that just had his H3 suv in for a transfer case.... plastic shift fork failed. Only 57,000 km too, no lift, 285 Goodyear wranglers.

Fixed the H2, all that was wrong was the rear UJ, $17 and its as good as new!
Now.. to get to work on the other one and fix the rad leak before the next trip... speaking of which, when are we thinking?

Found lots of trails, plenty left that I have ear marked to explore some time, in the castle mountain/crowsnest area. I think Dave found more in the area between there and further north too.
