Dave , once again thanks for picking up and bringing the parts out so we could fix my rig ....you're a life saver buddy.

[/quote]

No worries dude, glad to be of help!

Although I got side tracked and should have checked my pocket before I left!!!! I know I can't hold you down so next run I'll have to jump on your back and pour a few beers down your throat to make that up buddy!! So get ready for one hell of a hernia!!

That was awesome helping Scott put the belt on though as I know mine will go one day and I may even replace that tensioner assembly when I do seeing what happened to yours... Holy crap did that thing shred! Definitely a 2 man job though as it just squeezes in there eh!

Gary, I was not aware you too had problems with your rig? What happened and where?

Well just after the flat bed showed up and we were heading into cochrane my belt blew apart ...so lost everything ..so was able to flag down the tow truck driver and let him know he had to come back and get me lol. So after waiting 2 hours for him to come back we just towed it to cochrane and got a room and Dave was good enough to waste a sunday morning running around getting me parts , because on further review the tensioner actually seized up (mud) and the plastic pulley just blew apart and shredded the belt. And Dave and Scott got the parts on pretty fast and we were on our way.....but Scott got bad news today , gonna cost him just under a grand to repair his Fj ...he needed a new alt and battery and labour ....ouch for his first run ever!! ...but he loved it and cant wait to go again lol

Glad everyone made it safely, albeit with a few hiccups.. SO much fun but it does come with it's expenses........ Hope Scott can make it next time!

Is anyone else distraught about the gravel hill DISAPPEARING WITHOUT A TRACE?! Vanished into thin air I tell ya!!! I woulda taken a few more runs at it last time if I knew I'd never do that again!! Seriously though, this is really bothering me

It is! And the weirdest part is there's really no trace that is was ever there... the ground is completely level and there is really no trace of it ever being there... no machinery, the gravel isn't spread around, it's just gone!!! You have no idea how much this is bothering me!!!!

A mystery if ever there was one... I have to get to the bottom of this or I won't be able to sleep at night.....

LOL - no denying where Gaza's heart lies eh?!?

I think aliens took it!! Like there isn't even any loose stuff left behind.... they beamed up every bit!!

I wonder what they would use such small gravel for anyways out there?? I never see any gravel along the logging roads...aliens man!! ALIENS!!!

But in the end we kept going!

Learned more again on when to turn TC1 off and when to have it ON.... felt like an idiot again, makes me realize that I'm still a novice by far and still lots to learn! Had a blast though as always.... sorry again for leaving though Gaz.. should have waited for him the actually arrive...
