That event was awesome! So much sideways drifting!

My favorite maneuver was learning how to do a high speed 360 spin without losing control... that was crazy!!

Kewl!!!

I was going to pop out and say "Hi" as I wanted to introduce the H2 to Waiprous but I got sidetracked with working in the basement....  getting close.....

Were you actually on the lake doing the slides???  That would be a blast!!!  Dude I'd even do that in the Hummer except I saw a guy break through with his truck years ago so I'd be a little nervous with an H2.... not been cold enough for that weight!

Yeah it was awesome! You could drift for minutes at a time totally sideways at high speeds. There will be some more pictures coming back from one of the guys who is a pro photographer, should be pretty cool. You could get lots of snow flying over the top of the car at those speeds!  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

My wife got one blurry shot I can show you though;

I wouldn't worry about that, the ice was about 3 feet thick. You only need about 1 foot to take a big truck out there. There was a couple of big trucks out there, a jacked up Dodge and a huge done up Chevy truck.

Although as I was heading out there I went over a clear spot with no snow and I got pretty nervous!

I can't believe this snow/fog/mist is still hanging around Calgary for like the 4th day in a row. Everything outside is getting this odd looking frost layer on it, very creepy.

To be honest, I haven't even watched all of it yet.  I'll try to go through it a bit this week and grab some of the better shots.  If nothing else I want to see what worked and what didn't before we go out again.
