I picked it up in Montana, I could see that it had leaked out but I couldn't see any physical damage until I got it home

Well good and bad news... bad news is the fluid is a write off, the good news is that the place I ordered it from is going to make an exception with their shipping policy and send the entire actuator assembly out directly to Canada replace it so I don't have to drive down to the border again.

Thats doable! Considering it was UPS's fault...


When i ordered my winch it came like that from UPS and i refused delivery.. Driver was choked and a complete dumbass thinking delivering a package in that state was ok... Mine actually looked worse.


So they sent out a new one via Fedex and it arrived fine..

I am going to head out to waiparous on Sat, anyone want to come along?

I totally blame ups as that box looks mangled,BUT I wish the shipper created in wood or something

I actually talked to Ed Rinke GM today, they had a look at the pictures and agree that it looks like shipping damage. They said that it actually went out on a pallet, and UPS probably mishandled it and threw it in a box when it came apart. So more bonus points to UPS for destroying YET another one of my packages.
 
 
 
I don't suppose anybody has a blown apart diagram for the transfer case, it looks like the actuator it is held in with just 3 bolts... but no idea if it is going to be a simple swap or a complex nightmare.

Found my new Hummer!!! now just gotta figure a way to pay for it....
