I have been working on this idea for a couple of years now and there so far is no alternative. The amount of sheetmetal and structural crossmembers that need to be modified for this to work is ridiculous and it will compromise the passenger side structure in the process. I am still looking for a snorkel solution for myself included but so far the best I can find is a Product called frogz skinz and they allow air to pass but no water no matter how deep you are, but I haven't had a chance to test them yet on a small scale before I give my H2s engine the same treatment! Will keep you posted!

Actually D, our H2s do have drain plugs!!! However they are not as easily accessable as those of an H1! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

ARB site has a redirect to snorkle manufacturer in Austrailia their H3 unit mounts against passenger side window and along side hood. Nugget had one but changed to another custom set up. Possible mount snorkle then an exterior vent to air filter box.

There is no way to modify an H1 snorkel to work on an H2, trust me I would've done it by now!!

I am working on a full prototype snorkel now and will keep you all posted as to the process and the availability!
