I had the same problem after I took my Hummer H2 in for a oil and lube job.  The tech got over-zealous with the grease gun and put the whole carrier out of alignment.  I took it back and they fixed the problem by unpacking the grease and greasing it on a totally level surface and cheching alignment with each pump of grease.  Don't know if that helps or not???

I have the same problem with mine. I grease it every so often and it is ok for a while but then it is hard to move again. Don,t know what the solution is.
