Post by brianwidahl »

Hey guys

So the plan....

We will be meeting in the parking lot across from the Tim Hortons,in Cochrane which is located just off of hwy 22 by the super 8 motel.

well be meeting in the morning at 10am Saterday the 1st. We will be camping overnight, and leaving Sunday afternoon.

The trails are about 45min.- 1hr away.

Bring camping gear, tents, water, drinks(bring your own beer),snacks,clothes,2way radios if avalible, any other camping things you may need.....and you wouldn't want to forget your cameras.

I need to no who is coming for sure and how many people a vehicle.......

We will be having a b.b.q for dinner Saterday night. The plan is to try to head out by 12-1 Sunday afternoon, so you may want to bring some snacks for the morning......

Depending on the amount of people staying out there i may ask for a few buck to help cover food costs.(Maby $5 a vehicle sort of thing)

I hope to see you all out there... Im looking forward to some awsome wheeling with you guys.

Please everyone i need a vehicle/head count!!!!!!!!!!!

What kind of trails are we talking about Brian?

Lots of mud bogs? Rock crawling? Trail conditions?

Not to be a wimp, normally I will tackle anything but my H3T is only a few weeks old and bone stock.

the trails would be intermediate

they would consist of hills, bogs, not to much rock, and water crossings

most of the knarly stuff is avoidable...actually almost all of it

pretty much all the trails we will be heading down weve had stock jimmys,dakotas,s-10s,ect. down

i think you would be ok.  without running boards, that is

YES!!  I'll be there for sure Brian. My lease is almost up, so no holds barred this time...lol.

By the way... I'm looking to buy an old H1 or HumVee.  If anyone knows where to look, just point and I'll go!

There's always a few H1's and HMMWV listed here: www.usedh1.com

They're a little spread out but if you have something particular in mind it's a handy resource.
