Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is having a great offroad summer.

Question for everybody and anybody, HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I was driving home just night and noticed that all of a sudden when I pressed the accelerator the truck did not

speed up, it felt as though I had put the tranny into neutral.

Roy Foss had replaced the Tanny gasket because it was leaking several months ago.

When the truck is cold you can put the truck in Drive in works fine also goes and drives in reverse, but 2km later when everything warms up it starts doing the same thing. I have no warranty left and now will have to tow it about 300km at a cost of 700.00 dollars to have it fixed any suggestions would be extremely grateful.

The service 4WD signal came on about a week ago and then went off, I could also hear some kind of clanking. It is very weird because is it mechanical or electrical.

Is there some kind of pump that is not working . Maybe fuse somewhere. It seems to do it as soon as it warms up.

Now I am thinking if the pump that pumps the tranny fluid to rad is not working then the temp goes up and does not allow it to drive. But this does not make sense either because the trans temp on the dash is not high.

Please help.

Thanks Paul

is there a reduced eng. power message when this happens , the transmission you have is a 4l65e it relies on a 12volt ign. power , if the trans fluid does not smell burnt you could just need An ign switch , or if anyone has tampered with taillight wiring this could send a short back the system and cause faults , where are you located , Im in exeter and have worked on about thirty defferent hummer h2 ,and many gm trucks and suv

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I did not reply right away. Thanks for all your suggestions.

I did not realize that there is still warranty left on my truck. Strange, I leased the H2 at Roy Foss, and only found out

recently that it is a US truck, I even had to call GM Roadside assistance in the US. I guess Foss had bought some trucks from a US dealer when our dollar was at par and then resold or leased them out here in the GTA.

I thought the truck had only 60,000KM warranty however it has a 4 year 80000km warranty, wow I had 78,000km

lucky lucky, my truck has been at Foss for the past week and they told me the following

the transmission is gone, the front diff is gone, the needle bearings are gone, the rear springs are done, and I think the

shocks are done, wow this truck only has 78000km, I am worried now. How reliable and durable after the 80km mark.

I was actually thinking of buying one next year after my lease expires. I will not buy the one I have the buyout is something like 42K next April this is a 2006 model. I think this is way too much. You can buy for allot cheaper now.

Thanks Again to everyone who responded

Paul
