H2 - "Ice Possible" A/C not working
I have an annoying problem with my 2004 H2, sometimes when I start it up the Drivers Information Center will report 'Ice Possible' and then the A/C won't work. This is because the truck thinks that the outside temperature is too low, and to protect the A/C system, it won't let it start. This seems to occur mostly when I get the truck wet (washing it, driving through puddles). I found the sensors up on the right front bumper and tried un-plugging them to see if it made any difference, with no luck. I'm thinking there is a short somewhere, or something is getting wet and shorting out. Anyone know how to go about troubleshooting this? I'm not sure where the wires run from the front sensors to trace them back to their destination and test for shorts. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
