I was wondering if any of you actually track your mileage.. how much before and after MODS you have done and what works and what doesn't.. if there is a big secret, please share...

Ok used to do this with the truck before the Hummer I kept a log book. Fuel amounts and odometer readings and repairs and parts replaced or modified. last column was km/l ( calculated by difference in odometer readings over fuel in). I haven't done this with the Hummer as I'm not always with it..

Would be interesting to figure it out. Wonder if Kevin from Quebec has done it or knows of someone?

I did some mileage testing almost right off the bat with my bone stock truck! Basically I drove out from Calgary to Vancouver, then all over Vancouver Island and back to Calgary. Total distance covered was about 3300km's.

My average MPG after going back over the receipts and odometer reading for the entire trip was 19.6mpg (12.4L/100)

I did also record the trip to Vancouver and back separately; for the drive from Calgary to Vancouver I averaged 22mpg (10.7L/100)... the trip back I averaged 24mpg (9.8L/100).

No idea what my mileage is now... my speedometer is off because of the larger tires which makes things more difficult.

We did a lot of runs from home to brother's cottage on a almost standard route gave a good mileage test. Different fuels. tires and after repairs.
