Premium back to reg gas?

The previous owner was putting premium gas in it. I think he also has it chipped. I was told that it should be taking regular fuel, and was wondering if you guys new the proper answer. I called a GM rep, and he just went through the owners manual to get me the answer  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />. Also, if I should switch back to regular, how should I go about it?

Pretty much just start filling it with regular. These really isn't a huge risk unless the car is designed to take premium only. Most cars these days are designed with knock sensors and variable timing, the computer will figure it out and adjust if needed.
