1997 H1 soft top....

Post by drew man »

Hey all, I've had my H1 for a couple of years now and I'm noticing some oil-weeping from the front axle hub covers and some knocking while driving...no mechanics around here in Toronto for H1's so wondering where I can get a service manual for some good ol self perform; Thx!

  Try eBay first.

As far as a good mechanic for an H1 is concerned, you have to be kidding.

Phil Robertson specializes in H1's and services most of the H1's within a 2 hour drive

  from Toronto.

I was there yesterday for some stuff.

He had 5 H1's in the yard, and Dave B's on the lift getting a new engine and transmission.

See the post on H1 mechanics on the H1 board in this Forum.

Phil Robertson is in Bolton, Ontario at 905 584 9448.

Yep, call Phil for an appointment, ask him to go over your truck and check out what needs attention.

Up Yonge to 407 to Airport Road North to King.

Maybe 40 minutes.

Then you can choose what you want to do yourself, and what needs Phil's skillset.
