Regular maintenance

Post by losttourist »

Hi guys

well I was wondering about regular maintenance for the H3. Do most shops charge the regular rates for oil changes for example?  I have a shop that Ive been dealing with for 5 years now (prior to getting my H3) but am thinking of taking my H3 elsewhere.  Ive seen mentioned here about Master Mechanics on Dixie in Brampton, though Id have to work it into my schedule etc. There is a GM dealership available to me locally that Ive also considered.

Also for warranty work , do I have to take it to an actual Hummer dealer or is  any GM dealer able to do the work?

thanks

Personally, Steve at Master Mechanics is the one you should go to for your H3.  I bring him my H2 from 3 hours away and it is worth it to fit it into your schedule.  Steve can do all warranty work on Hummers.  I would suggest talking to Steve about changing to synthetic at the next oil change.

Hi Patrick

I didnt know they also did warranty work. That is definitely good to know. Right now Im leaning towards going there with all the positive things Ive read on here so far.  I appreciate your input.

thanks
