I'm trying to figure out how to remove the stub shafts from my rear diff anyone ever done this or know how

The book says to use a slide hammer to remove.

...

remove axle ass.

loosen output lock nut

use slide hammer and remove output shaft ass. from housing

remove lock nut,seal washer,output flange and seal



.. looks like the bearings hold the shaft in place.

I got a detroit and put it in I'm going to rebuild the torsen for a spare thanks for the help sorry haven't been able to get back to ya been busy fixing my baby
