Alberta Run

Post by Khamul »

G'Day All,

Seeing how our last run was a bit of a bust - who's up for a Fun stress free trail ride? We'll stick to the light hills so we don't have to worry about towing people up the hills and actually have fun this time!

Make it a day run with lunch on the trail - around a fire would be nice... Good drink, good fun and good times!

Looking for some feedback so would like to hear from all the Alberta fellow Hummer owners and let's have some fun!

lol, I was going to start a new thread but I just noticed this one with no reply's!  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

Anybody up for going out on the 21st? I have a few freinds who are first-timers that are interested in going for a run, they have pretty well equipped rigs but probably want to stick to the basics when it comes to the trails.

Our club can run this event... so FRS radio's and we stay together. I don't know Waiparous as well either, I am hoping that Steve or Brian will lead it.

Already getting some feedback, Feb 20th (Saturday) would work better for some people

Another update:

Looks like the Land Rover club is going out on the 21st... they have a pretty small group and have an open invite to others. That is another option for us.

Agreed!  While fun I would rather we got out of there while the sun is still up!  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

I have a friend who just picked up a new Jeep this week, also a coworker who has a crazy done up FJ cruiser (The yellow one from the Henninger showroom a few years back) and it has never been off-road. It would be the first time out for both of them.

My freind with the Jeep also would have a guest with a lifted ZJ coming out.

Sunday isn't good for me but I could probably do the Saturday.

Maybe we'll even get a little snow between now and then.

Most people I have talked to have said that, I think we can firm up the date for Feb 20th!

Anybody heard from Brian, I haven't even seen him posting lately.
