FORUM Rules and Guidelines



1. While debating and discussion is encouraged; rudeness, insulting posts, vulgar language, personal attacks, or purposeless inflammatory posts is prohibited.



2. Posts or links to sites that are sexual in nature or violate CHC community standards are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.



3. Discussion of any illegal activity, including, software and music piracy and, other intellectual property violations is prohibited.



4. Advertising, spamming and trolling is strictly prohibited. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam Members.



5. Posting of any affiliate or referral links or posts asking for a referral, is in violation of Club policy and will be removed.



6. No posts that include advertisements or notices for contests are permitted.



7. We encourage constructive comparative conversations about competitors and their products; however, blatant adverts or the sort of 'ooh look, yet another bulletin board' threads will not be tolerated.



8. Registering with multiple accounts is not permitted.



9. Please refrain from posting disputes regarding Club policies, or posts questioning Moderator actions. Submit your comments directly to info@canadianhummerclub.com



10. Please refrain from multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count.



11. Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.



12. We encourage our French speaking members to post in the French section provided. If you wish to post in French on the English forum, please try to include an English translation.



13. Canadian Hummer Club Membership Fees are annually based, payable in full, in advance, and are not refundable. The Canadian Hummer Club offers features and benefits associated with membership, which may change from to time, at the sole discretion of the Canadian Hummer Club and the Club is not responsible for circumstances beyond its control. Membership Fees may vary from time to time, special offerings and/or promotional rates may be offered at the sole discretion of the Club, and no refunds or credits will issued, unless as agreed to by the Club in writing, and only considered within 30 days of a Membership payment processing and posting.



14. The Canadian Hummer Club does not endorse any products or services offered by members or others, through its website, forum, and marketplace postings, and offers no indemnity implied or warranted, unless otherwise stated. Each supplier and advertiser is solely responsible for any and all claims or endorsements of its products or services.



15. The Canadian Hummer Club is not responsible for any injury or loss, howsoever caused, at any event or recreational activity, or accepts any liability for expenses incurred should any event or activity be cancelled for any reason whatsoever. The Canadian Hummer Club invites attendees and participants at their own risk, and makes no claim as to the safety or security of same, person or property at said events.



16. All use of the Canadian Hummer Club Name, Logo, and Brand Integrity, are subject to Club approval, in order for its Managers to ensure that all such usage complies with the Club Mission Statement and Charter Goals, and eliminates marketplace confusion with similar clubs, and maintains high standards for reproduction of the Canadian Hummer Club logos, images and the quality of branded products and merchandise. All proposed usage of the above must be submitted for Club approval by email to permissions@canadianhummerclub.com. Permissions will not be unreasonably with-held, and will generally be granted, denied or modified within 48 hours of receipt of requests.



17. We reserve the right to refuse membership and or ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.



18. We have stated some potential situations above; however, we cannot anticipate every circumstance. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
