Step 4:

Install the supplied ARB Template on the fender and make sure it is well secured with tape! Now drill out the holes and be sure to be exactly on the lines!! It is very important to cut exactly on the lines for proper fitment and placement!!! PS: Don't freak out you now have a HUGE hole in your Fender...but It will be worth it!!!

Image

Step 5:

Now that the holes are cutout, place the snorkel and align it to the windshield and mark where you are to drill for the windshield bracket! Note: USE tape!! It makes it way easier to see where to drill!!

Image

Step 6:

Verify Snorkel Placement BEFORE YOU DRILL ON THE WINDSHIELD PILLAR!!! Make sure that everything is where it is supposed to be!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Image

Step 7:

Now that you have drilled out the windshield pillar, remove the windshield trim and deburr the holes and seal them with silicone and install the supplied spacer so as not to kink the windshield trim when installing the snorkel support bracket! Make sure everything is lined up BEFORE you put the trim back on!!!

Step 8:

Now you are ready for final fitment. Remove all tape and templates and clean the areas well.

(Don't cry the holes in the fender are TOTALLY WORTH IT!!)

Image

Step 9:

Now to the engine compartment. YOU MUST SEAL ALL CONNECTIONS WITH SILICONE TO ENSURE A WATERTIGHT SEAL!!

Image

Step 10:

Don't forget the factory drain holes in the air box!!! Otherwise you will have an unwanted surprise!!!

Image

Step 11:

Reinstall the factory airbox and use the supplied rubber hose to connect the factory airbox to the snorkel body.

Step 12:

Install the Intake ram on top of the snorkel and then check and recheck all connections!!! Remember YOUR ENGINE depends on a Water Tight Seal!!!

Reinstall the inner fender and the tire and take it off the jacks. Then...

Stand Back and Enjoy the New Look of Your H3!!!

Now that it is all installed...take it for a roadtest and enjoy the new found power and improved mileage from a True Ram Air and Cold Air Intake system!!

If you would like the same kit installed on Your H3 why not PM and I can do the same for you!!!

Enjoy!
