I'll second that one Bear!!!! It was a blast and a big thank you to John for organizing it. The rock face climb was a freaking blast. The pictures do NOT do it justice!!!! John, I still have the block you lent me on the back of the Hummer...couldn't see it through all of the MUD!!! I'll give it back to you when I see you in court provided, that is, that we have the same court date!! Getting the ticket for failure to display two licenece plates on that gravel service road was a really pricky thing for that cop to do!!! <img src='

TC..we asked the officer about putting it in the front windshield and he said NO that it must be firmly affixed to the front bumper...which I think is WRONG!!! I think that it must be clearly visible and that is it....still looking for the actual law in the HTA of Ontario....

Thanks John that was an awesome weekend! It was great to get out of the city, get the truck dirty, have a BBQ, sleep in a tent and have John protect you from a savage bear! Ok, tenting might not be everyones thing, but who doesn't enjoy a good bear chase?
Looking forward to a trip back next month.

Hey man....I know they only use one plate in Quebec....I had a family cottage in Malartic...near Val Dor and every time I went up the local PD would pull me over as they knew I was from Ontario and they would give me a hard time for not speaking French when they asked for my licence and registration and proof of insurance....Once I could have let it go, but literally it was almost every time I was up there....perhaps they just wanted a boo at the Hummer?<img src='

Well I could not see anything more than this, even with the help of Ministry of transportation.
HTA link
And it says
" Every number plate shall be kept free from dirt and obstruction and shall be affixed so that the entire number plate, including the numbers, is plainly visible at all times, and the view of the number plate shall not be obscured or obstructed by spare tires, bumper bars, any part of the vehicle, any attachments to the vehicle or the load carried. 1994, c. 27, s. 138 (7).
OPP must have a different act,, and I could not find it.
