to avoid loosing your front plate is easy.

remove the plate

remove the 2 plastic speed nuts. they pop out wit a flat screwdriver.

get 2 1 inch x 1/4 inch bolts, 2 regular diameter washers,2 fender washers and 2 nuts. stainless steel preffered.

use the bolts to attach the plate to the bumper with the fender washers on the outside over the plate holes



the plate will never come off accidentally again.



i have done this to all my h2's.

Here are mine; I have yet to lose one, though the rear now is somewhat bent upwards (more than in the photo). Looks good that way.

3 black rubber covered fittings that go around the tubing and have bolt holes that meet to secure the license plate.

KC definitely makes a tube mount that you could use (or did use lol) for that, and Im almost certain Piaa and Hella do too. On the tab that sticks out, there is a hole drilled to mount lights upon, but could be used for a plate bracket like you show there.

I used the steel bracket kit from AM General [AMG # 5939482B5] it was about $10-15 and bolts into the front bumper. I used small bolts and locknuts for the plates instead of the screws with anti-seize on the nuts in case you have to remove it down the road. Instead of letting the plate hang below the front bumper, I secured it from the bottom up so it's flush with the main bumper assembly.



I had a old winch on at one point, I just zip tied it to the brush guard, that's not very practical though <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />



The rubber duck kit looks good, you can also use many other roller/flip plate mounts from other vehicles:
