I am trying to install electric fans on my 2004 H2 , but am having difficulty in removing the stock clutch fan. How do you stop the pulley from turning when you try to uscrew the nut? Also putting a new transmission cooler on. i find that there are 2 auxillary coolers already on from the factory, cannot understand why there are 2 inlets and 2 outlets on my rad. i pair on the left and 1 pair on the right. Does this sound right? Any insight/help would be appreciated. thanks

Thanks for your reply, got everything done today. Got the clutch fan off(Special tool)and spent 1/2 a day looking for a nut to make sure that the pulley wouldn't come off. Almost ended up cutting the nut off the old clutch fan before I found out that the pulley was pressed on to the waterv pump and the nut wasn't necessary. Oil cooler lines going into the radiator driver's side are engine oil, passenger side: transmission.

Hey, glad you got it done...thought it might be a special tool to get it off...have heard of people jamming the fan blades, but that is NEVER good....keep the names I gave you just in case...they are very knowledgeable guys and you never know when you might need them....
