Trucks Are At The Spa

Post by dwaxman1 »

I have left my trucks in good hands while we are away.. Phil has got them both.. need to do a few repairs on the H1 and the H2 needs a ROCK FREE zone...anyways hope to have the H1 fuel issue all resolved by the time we return from vacation. H2 also has a "Service Airbag" sensor coming on now, need to get that looked at too...

anyways, need to try and rent one here but with gas prices over $3.00/liter CAD, not sure how much will be driving, also Diesel is about the same..actually diesel is more expensive..

Good luck trying to find one in Europe. I read you're in Hungary? In Europe, rental cars are somewhat "smaller" than they are over here - case-in-point: we specified "Mid Size Car" in Vienna a few months ago, and got a mini cooper. In fact, the only Hummer I have seen of any kind anywhere in Europe was a H1 in Finland last fall.

Let us know if you find one.

I was in Vienna on Sunday.. lots of great cars there, there is a lot of Hummers in Budapest, H2 and H1s but very expensive.. not many rental places have these as they are very high end here...but I will continue to look....

I look every year but never seem to find one.. But i will continue.. it is funny as the local post office just bought some Humvees from the American government for their delivery trucks to deliver packages.. one of Julie's cousins works their and told us today, waiting for the photos of that...maybe I will become a mailman!!

Doesn't sound right to me - the post office using HUMVEES? Are they planning on invading Romania or something? <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> They must have meant H3s or H2s. And buying them from the US Government? Maybe the feds are planning something over there?

Post the pictures if you get them, I want to see this.

they also got a surplus of parts and averaged about $8K per year on standard parts.. I told them it seems a bit low.
