Hey Y'all...The Sooner We Start Planning - The More Trucks Will Come!!

September 11th is the BIG DAY!!

If You Are New... This is a LOT of fun and a beautiful drive. You DO NOT have to run your rig hard.. There are many simple trails we will be on, and though there will be a few tough spots, you will be well looked after by the pro's out there!!

Location: Waiporous (just west of Cochrane). We will meet at the Tim Hortons in Cochrane at 9 AM and roll out by 9:30. Private Message me if you need directions or have any questions at all about what to bring or what to expect out there.

Planned Route (may be altered): Margaret Lake via trail directly across from Gravel Pit so we can hopefully give some more of those mud holes a go!!! Then from Lake, exit NE towards trail Dave lost his diff, or some people may vote to head back to the Falls, depending on time.

Meet on Sept 11th @ the parking lot opposite of Tim Hortons in Cochrane at 9:00 AM sharp. We will be heading out at 9:30 AM as a group to the off-road park.

Please don't be late..the earlier we get out there, the more terrain we can cover!

Things you Must have

-Ample Food and Water for all your passengers for the day

-Warm Cloths and gloves (puncture resistant if you have them)

-Front and rear tow points

Suggested things you should bring

-A backup change of cloths, shoes and socks & towel

-Recovery Straps and Shackles

-GMRS Radio for communicating during the ride.

-Boots are nice out there

Other nice to have things

-Shovels

-Air Compressor

-Tools

-Extra vehicle fluids

-Jumper cables

Recommendations for the day:

- Video or Still camera

Please PLEASE remove your side steps/running boards and Mudflaps( H2 & H3 )

Be ready for one of the Most Awesome Trails you will ever experience! Image

See You On The Trails!!!

September 11th works really well for me...

My sister is visiting from New York and that will be a highlight for her to come with us. She already said she'd love too... LOL. We'll see how she feels after Image

Location ideas...

Waiporous

Margaret Lake via trail directly across from Gravel Pit so we can hopefully give some more of those mud holes a go!!! Then exit via trail Dave lost his diff, or head back and depending on time go to The Falls.

I am probably in... I will let Ferdy know too.

Also likely going to bring along Alak (Land Rover) and his buddy with the 6.2L Ford Raptor as tag alongs. He doesn't want to go with the Jeep clubs because his truck is too wide and long, he will feel right at home with us, lol.

Loving the trail plan... Awesome! Definitely want to revisit that trail where Dave had his unfortunate break down as there were some great sections in there, entering at the pit across the road sure beats taking the easy way to four corners!

I'm all over that!!!...... we should take a half hour pause there as I saw some killer fish in that creek!

Maybe I'll find my driveshaft!!!! I should probably pick it up and bring it back to as leaving it behind wasn't proper... but it was the heat of the moment!!
