Is there a lot of modification that needs to be done when importing a US version of the H2 to Canada ?
Also in regards to parts, is the US version same as the Canadian version ?
The reason that I am asking about the parts is because, I have a friend that brought his 2004 Honda Accord from the States to Canada. It turns out that when he needed to change the brake pads, the size of the Canadian brake pads are not the same as the US version. So he had to buy a Honda Accord brake pads in the US.

I have imported two H2's and there are very few modifications required. The only one has to do with the daytime running lights (and yes, every H2 has daytime running lights standard....don't let them tell you the round lights in the bumper are fog lights because they are NOT, those are your daytime running lights...if they give you a hassle, ask them to turn on the fog lights then....you can't because they are not fog lights....the sensor for the daytime running lights is on the front dashboard closer to the passenger side and looks like a little black sphere....cover it for 10 seconds and presto...daytime running lights come on). The actual lights (Daytime Running Lights) can be shut off and this is illegal in Canada. You can go to a Hummer tech. and they can re-program the H2 to the Canadian standards (I think about $100.00) or you can cut the ground to the switch (wiring scheme is on the net) and then you can always re-connect them should you wish for off-roading purposes when using aux. lights...That's the only mod that needs to be done....I was in and out in 20 min. with a Federal Inspection (mandatory from RIV) and a Provincial Certification. Any questions, just PM me or ask on the forum....
