This is what happens when a 8760lbs H1 t bones a car at 45-60 kms She is fine 17 stichs and a dislocated knee had I hit her 2 feet to the right she would be dead I hit the A pillar of the car the strongest part and the damage to my truck includes the frame is slightly damaged but only 6 inchs back the helicopter lift hook shifted and need to be pulled back the rad went into the fan the fan is shreaded and last but not least the steering box cracked and broke 2 bolts. And the hood well it was done before but now it's really done. The bush gaurd has to have a small 3 foot rebuilt

Fixed so far

Steering box = got warranty for HEHEHE they didn't hear what happend told them it was a faulty box LOL

Wow, glad everyone survived. That could have been much worse.

Just wanted to let you know I always scan Kijijji and just type in Hummer to see what is around for parts and noticed an H1 Hood in my area (Edmonton) listed as 2008 but know 06 was the last year. Mine was a 95 before I let it go.

Ad posted for your review if that helps, and I can always go have a look at it and check it out, maybe take a few more pics if you need to confirm the condition, I see he has 9 ads running with various other car parts.

Also noticed in your area a chrome H1 Bushguard that was shown on a 97 prior to removal too

Feel free to message me if you need someone local to look at it as it is a big item and not cheap to buy on speculation.

Too bad more people just don't pay attention to their driving and issues like this arise. And some people wonder why we put big bumpers and our bushguards on our hummers still.

H1 hoods are actually a specific type of fiberglass known as SMC. When I had repairs done on mine, I was advised to take it to a Corvette dealer, as many corvette body panels were made out of this same material. Just food for thought.
