To better help everyone know what to expect for the trails we rides here is a new rating system that we will be following for all future trail rides.CHC Trail Ratings Guide <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comoffice" /><o:p></o:p>Category What to Expect <o:p></o:p><H1 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt">Novice</H1>1 No brush rake. Transfercase to High-Lock. No technical off-road experience needed. Nice family drive through the backcountry.2 Brush rake likely. Transfercase to High-lock. Some trail experience may be necessary. Still fun for the whole family.<H1 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt">Intermediate</H1>3 Expect brush rake. Transfer to Lo-lock. Expect a few technical obstacles that may require more than one try.4 Expect brush rake. Lockers may be required for some obstacles.5 Brush rake will happen! Off-road experience is helpful. Bring recovery equipment just in case.<H1 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt">Advanced</H1>6 Recovery equipment and the knowledge of how to use it is required. It is not likely that you will get stuck, but on this type of trail you should be prepared. Stacking rocks most likely will occur.7 Off-road experience is needed. Being able to choose the right line within three tries is necessary.8 Off-road experience is a must. Expect to spend as much time out of the truck walking obstacles, as you will driving them. <H1 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt">Extreme</H1>9 Dont go alone! Bring tools & spare parts, plenty of food and water, and anything else you might need to spend a few days in the rough.10 Are you crazy?! Birds have trouble flying over this trail.See you on the trails!!!
