Actually you might be able to get by without winching but not likely...I even have several parts that I have no choice but to winch out/over. There is alot of twist ditches aka 3 wheeling and 2 wheeling.
To say you need nerves of steel...not this time...it is a very safe area that has no drop offs aka 'cliffs' but alot of rock and deep water and mud and tight turns in between big trees and rocks!!
It should be really fun with some snow! It will be even muddier and deeper!!!

Re: QUEBEC CHAPTER WINTER MUD RUN!
Ok here is a ton more info!!!
The Top Secret Location is my property in Franklin Center, Quebec!
It is SUPER Tight...why...because I made it that way!!!
I was on the backhoe today digging some sections even deeper than they naturally where!! My Can-Am Outlander 800 MAX XT almost disappears into some of them and I have had to winch out of several of them due to the exit angle!! Like Straight Up!!!
Are these trails anything like what we do near Weir...not in any way...there is alot of rocks in between trees and some serious side angles and some deep mud in between trees with logs buried at angles underneath!! So there is no way you can go straight thru...the logs kinda track you to the side and really don't allow forward motion...but they direct you to some challenging obstacles.
Many of my trails kinda look like a snake trail since they double back on themselves and have tight 150-180 degree turns in between trees and rocks.
I have cut almost every branch that could scratch or damage a vehicle and I have cut many trees that made it just too tight but left some big ones for us to squish our way thru...well it will be really tight for H1s and kinda tight for H2s but it will be spacious for H3s...well sorta!! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... lleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I do have some really really deep water for anyone daring enough to try and some really long water crossings. I also have a mud bog setup...but I doubt that once you go in anyone will come out!!! I have only managed it once!!! Every Other time I had to winch out or pull it out with my backhoe!! Still super fun though!!
I was wondering if anyone would like to come and help a bit with tree cutting on Nov. 27th and/or Dec. 4th, I have alot more trail to open before the 11th!! Any takers??? Any Takers with chainsaws???
Let Me know!!!
And Roy I would still recommend the bush truck...'The Princess' doesn't deserve this kind-of treatment!!
And TC tell Alain to come too!!
For Sleeping Info here is the Bed and Breakfast 1/2km away!!!
http://www.bagnell-hall.com/
Let Me Know Guys!!!
Hope to See You there!!
Btw, once we get this all done we will have a place to play ALL WINTER WHENEVER WE WANT!!!! Yiipppeee!!! No More waiting till spring/summer!!! Yiiippppeeee!!!
