Hello everyone,

Every time I try to use my Cruise Control in my 95 H1 I blow a fuse and lose my speedometer and odometer. Other then blowing fuses it doesn't do anything else (never has worked). I checked the switch behind the break and it seems clean and to be going in and out smoothly. Does anyone have an installation manual on the Cruise Control? maybe I could follow the steps and see if there is a short somewhere. It would really be handy on those long trips!



Any ideas anyone?

Blowing a fuse seems like a short in the steering column.Its going to take a little time to find this problem.Try finding the plug for the control switch , unplug it and test for a grounding thru the wires.

I think this is the same configuration as my 96, I will check the service manuals I have for this issue..
