That's actually a pretty decent price. Great looking truck (minus the interior)

Ok price, collectors like those trucks if it's in great shape.

I know a guy in Southern California who exports the 10th edition trucks to Japan all the time.

Hi. I went to have a look at this truck as I live in Quebec City. Motor has been replaced. and it looks like somebody's given it a real quick repaint. Was advertised before on Lespac when it was a "promotional" vehicle by some marketing company. Had a really ugly paint job then and doesn't look much better now, in my opinion. Tried to take it for a test drive but the salesman said that the battery was dead. A friend of mine took it for a drive after waiting for a couple of weeks to hear back from the salesman about the "battery" issue. He owns an H2 so maybe it was just the difference in the ride, but he wasn't impressed. I think the price is high and there didn't seem to be much room for negotiation. You know that vibe you get when you see a real good truck at a real good price? Didn't get that feeling!! Somebody will probably buy it and turn it into a street queen.

I honestly dislike both sellers at that place! They look at you as if you were moron... they didn't want me to test drive the H1 also... I wonder how they are still in business!

Motor has been changed, the turbo twice. I heard it is still leaking oil... Has been for sale for more than 2 years now... he was asking 54k at the time and said to me I know the values of my cars and it's 54k not a penny less...

I bought my 2002 not a long time after... I should go back with my H1 and ask him if it's STILL for sale!

It was a promo vehicle for XPN Performance Nutrition (proteins and stuff to look like Arnold). Didn't know it was repainted...

I also went to XPN last summer, the driver is a 16yo little boy (father's car)... I gave him a Canadian Hummer Club card and told him to post it in the marketplace... but he didn't care...

Hi Guys, new to the fourm, ive been hunting down a H1 for the past few months. Well today i decided to join the forum, seeing that i might have a H1 in a few days time, and low and behold, this is the hummer that im actualy going to be seeing in a few days. My dad just found out today from the dealer in quebec that the engine was infact replaced, this H1 has now made its way down to ontario (a dealer here has it), just wondering if you guys think i should pass on this one. Ive always wanted a 10th anniversary one, but after hearing the history of it, its got me concerned. No accidents or such on the carfax, but with 88,000 miles on it, and with the engine going so soon on a 2002?, i got a wierd feeling about it. I dont have any info on why the previous engine went.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! I do all my own maintence on my vehicles, and completely understand the whole maintence thing on the H1, not a problem to me. But if theres anything i should check out before going though with it, any info would be great.

Btw as of now it doesnt have that funky vinyl graphic on the side, Its all back to original, and has the matching bench seat with it in the back. it has the tan leather interior found on the anniversary edition, which i honestly perfer over the grey.

Im just anxious to get into a H1, and hopefully dont make a bad choice, i cant wait to hang out with other hummer fans and do the occasional mild off road trek. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Hi Giver,

It was a promo vehicle for a protein company...with people that don't know what "check engine" means... What the previous seller told me (he didn't think I was serious about buying a Hummer) is that he has an oil leaks somewhere... And they drove with not enought oil so things went bad for the motor... He told me when they bought it, turbo was blown too (don't know why)... I THINK he told me had to replace the turbo a second time too...

But now that everything has been changed... Be sure to have it inspected and get a warranty...

How much is he selling it??
