For all those who are die hard fans of SUVs, here are some unbelievable facts of the greatest SUV invention of the 20th century, any guesses?, we are talking about huge “Hummers”. Hummer, basically, is a truck and SUV brand which was marketed in the early 90s by AM General Corporation.
History -
General Motors, in 1998, borrowed the brand name and also marketed the vehicles on its platform.
A Chinese auto company Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Company announced its interest to takeover Hummer in 2009 but withdrew its decision after failing to get approval by Chinese regulators.

1. Hummers were created under the permission granted by the United States armed forces.
2. The first model was called Hum-Vee
3. Actor Arnold schwarzenegger was a big fan of the brand but sold it in a move to save the plant and to support "go green".
