Western Spring Fling!

Post by Khamul »

G'Day all,

Wanted to get this post started with as much notice as possible!

We are planning a Fun filled Family trail run on Saturday May 7th.

Meeting Place: Parking lot of Prairie Smoke Restaurant across from Tim Horton's in Cochrane, Alberta (map will be below)

Destination: Margaret Lake - awesome place to do a bit of fishing, swimming (Must have swim suit), or canoeing. We will spend about 2 hours here.

Added Fun: 2 Prizes will be supplied by Mortgage Results (http://www.mybestmortgage.ca/). More details will follow but one will be a simple draw, the second will be something we must agree upon such as dirtiest Hummer, or most awesome hill climbed, or by popular vote... I'm open! I believe JL mentioned a Scanguage will be on the table as well which is a neat little gadget!

We would like as many to come on this trip as possible. There will be plenty or recovery equipment within the group so if you are new to this - now is the time to come as I'm sure many demonstrations will be going on. The trail itself is ALOT of fun and not too hard.

Please respond via posts as soon as you can as we would like to keep a head count on this one and everyone - please try and come - Should be ALOT of FUN!!!

Count me in for a May 7 run,

Although I somehow doubt I will be in for swimming in May! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... on_eek.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Does anybody own a Canoe? It has been a long time, but I am actually pretty experienced in the back.

Booyah I will be there! And up for grabs.. A ScanGauge 2! MSRP of $169.99 so it's a great score for the winner! Details of the giveaway are to be determined, whether it's a draw or contest, but someone will be taking it home!!

I already have one in my H2 and it's great to see an accurate digital readout versus the gauges on the dash which can leave you guessing!! Works on 1996 and up H1, and H2 and H3 all years!!

TRIP COMPUTER

Automatically tracks four sets of trip data - Each with 11 individually stored parameters.

DIGITAL GAUGES

Display 4 gauges at a time from the 12 built-in digital gauges

SCAN TOOL

Troubleshoot your own car and turn off the “Check Engine” light.

X-GAUGE

Expandable X-Gauge features enable additional data readouts like Horsepower and Torque. See how effective your horsepower mods are!

FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE

Backlit display with customizable colors, mix and match the data points that matter to you, swap from vehicle to vehicle because you are never restricted like other devices.
