I think it would be a great idea to start a Specialty tool Exchange. Help out your fellow H1 owner with a specialty tool (as these are either hard to locate, or very expensive, and to own all of them.. well it really adds up.)
I think some ground rules should be:
-Replace it if you lose it or break it.
-Return it in the same condition
-Do not keep it longer than necessary (And have someone have to hound you to get it back)
-Respect the process.
I can edit this and add anyone to the list, just let me know location, Username and what specialty tools you have for the H1/HMMWV

After this week (and after theyre used) I'll have a Geared Hub Seal Driver Kit from RD4x4, and a Spindle Nut Socket in my collection.

I just did my front seals yesterday. You really don't need the seal driver kit, if your uncomfortable using the old seal to drive the new one, go to Princess Auto and pick up a generic seal driver kit. Be careful with the depth's to, because there are 3 variety's of seals, and the one piece is not driven to the same depth.

Re: H1 Speciality Tool Exchange (Loan them out, if you have them)
Were they a pain to do? How much time did the seals take you? This will be the first time mine get done (under my ownership) and I have a leaking right rear output seal...
Either way, the tool is on order from RD4x4 already as I had it sent with the seals, and the socket, so too late now lol. If anyone would like to borrow it once Im done, just pay the shipping both ways, and I dont have a problem with lending it out (The socket and seal driver were around $140, so shipping both ways would be a decent savings)

No, about 1.5 hours per side, be very careful to take your time, and if you can get some threaded rod and use it as guide pins to put the tie rod arms back on, that CTIS seal is fragile and easy to damage. My only advise is to take your time, use lots of threadlock, and you will be good. It's a easy job, just tedious.
